I bought these same shoes last month and I had to return them. The back of the shoe kept rubbing against the top of my heel, so at a minimum you will need to wear socks or add a heel cushion/protector. The previous version (zerogrand) has the better design comfort wise. I did like the look of the shoes though.

Everyone's feet are different so if the price is right for you, to buy it and try it out. Worse thing that can happen is that you send it back.

I own a pair of these in black/gray but also own no name amazon knockoffs that I bought in April for $28 on sale (currently $41). The Amazon shoes do a great job for 30% cheaper (and 70% cheaper vs MSRP). Lots of colors to choose from and they've held up well for me in pretty rugged daily use. Link below.

Still a solid deal at this price.

May as well update the title to include the only color available at this price: Marine Blue.

Current sizes available from Mens 8.5-12 and 13 .

Good luck!

Same problem, got these same shoes in the last deal and they destroy the back of my heel. I have 20+ pairs of cole haan and this is the only one that does it. Sad to discover. Even with socks it still hurts.

I have a pair of zeroGands and they are by far my least favorite shoe to wear. They rub the back of my heel, and somehow the sole is like walking barefoot on concrete, I would feel ripped off, even at this price.

I have three pairs of these and wear them almost every day at work. The heel tab really only bothered me for the first day or so.

Don't get it, how can this pass QC/Design... Same issue with a different pair with the stupid thing on the back. Wore them to a conference and I ended up with bad blisters above the heel and had to switch to sneakers.

Same. My wife got me these in Black for Christmas. Nice looking shoe, but blisters my Achilles before lunch.
