Nike is my go to golf shoe, but not a fan of the recent retro basketball sneaker styles they've been putting out.

Do most golf shoes nowadays not have cleats on them? It's been a couple of years since I played last, but I suppose it's course dependent?

Exactly--purple is a valid basketball accent color. Green is an abomination. I don't wear green basketball gear.

Not removable ones I guess? I still remember the days when everyone wore metal spiked cleats. Then they all swapped them out for those little plastic circles. Now it looks like a lot of golf shoes just have soles that resemble cleats. I think I was ahead of my time when I wore trail runners. That's what a lot of these look like, athletic shoes with extra grippy cleat like bottoms similar to trail runners.

Wow, many (all?) of these are waterproof, making this deal very slick! Nike waterproof golf shoes should read "1-year waterproof warranty" in the product details popup.

I was looking at the Air Max G not too long ago. Found a review comparing the regular version to the golf version. The sole didn't look very different between the two. I think a lot of these are just for the look. I am terrible at golf so I likely wouldn't notice. Someone good that actually needs the grip of a golf cleat would probably notice.

I still wear real golf shoes because I find myself in the rough and the shitty lies more often than not. I need the cleats to get down the hill to my ball.

Pretty good player, possibly the best. Terrible team choice, probably the worst team choice in the history of sports. Larry did some good work in college and on The Dream Team, also a nice commercial with Magic. But all of his NBA resume...I can't support it.

A lot of then are "spikeless" now which means they have nubs and not replaceable spikes. Kind of like turf shoes.
