I bought a ticket for 2 passengers in the same transaction. When it was pending it was for the total amount. Once the charge actually posted it posted as two separate transactions. Only one of them qualified for the 10% cashback.

Most airlines generally charge you separately for each passenger. Southwest and United do this at least.
