I hate terms like this, it's like those mail-in rebate, you may not get it, or you forgot to use it
When I do these, I always screen shot the promo page header as well as my checkout screen showing the promo. This because once you complete checkout, there usually is no further mention of the promo in your order history. I usually get it right at the 30 day mark, but in the past when I did t was able to chat support and they honored it with my screenshots. CYA.
it may have been added to an invisible "promotional credit" balance that you can't see.
When I got dog food a couple months ago I thought I got scammed, when I finally went to order something on amazon I realized I had promo credit applied during checkout.

Yes. Do this people. I've had many instances where my credits didn't show up. Amazon should really have a way for people to keep track of promos they've done and show that they're pending at least.

Indeed, Amazon doesn't want to make it too easy to track promo discounts it seems. I can go back and look up nearly 10 years of purchases and prices, but specific discounts only show up as deducted off the entire order total and these types of promos never show up in your order history. This makes price tracking accurately via CCC even less reliable. I notice many sellers consistently advertising their items at full price with always-active coupons for pretty much the same amounts. Just as fishy as Amazon's review system lol. But absolutely, CYA and screen shot everything until you no longer need it with every retailer, bank, insurance company etc. I take photos of my rental cars and their gas gauges/odometers at pickup and drop off as well for the same reason (two occasions would've eaten BS charges if I didn't have the "receipts" lol).

I got burned last time with this deal because I ordered multiple items and they shipped/delivered them on different days. After a while I didn't receive the credit so I contacted CS and they said I wasn't eligible because they were delivered on different days. I read the terms and it was right there stating that the items have to be delivered (or maybe it was shipped, I can't remember exactly) on the same day for it to be eligible. I tried to explain that I placed the order all at once with those items and it's not my fault they shipped and delivered on different days, but that didn't get me anywhere.
Edit: I just read the terms for this deal and it states: "Items must be purchased in a single order and shipped at the same speed to a single address."
How is it my fault that they shipped at different speeds? Some of the items were one day shipping, others were 2 day shipping. They're so sneaky!

Okay, I looked. Cleaning products and trash bags. Might be a slick deal, but give everyone a hint, OKAY?
