I have two of these and will definitely get another if one dies. These move a significant amount of air compared to typical fans.

Grew up in Kansas (where Vornado's are made) so I'm a bit of a homer on this, but I truly believe you cannot get a better fan for the money.

It moves a ton of air, is reasonably quiet, and is built like a tank. I have this exact model that I purchased in 2021 and I've used it nightly as a bedroom fan and it still operates just as well as the day I bought it.

I have two others (different models) that I use in other rooms and both have been equally as reliable and useful.

Unless you grew up in a Chinese town called Kansas then you didn't grow up where this Vornado is made.

I've bought 5 Vornados over the past few years, and their quality has declined. They are much noisier with poor build quality. My biggest issue is that they are using soft-touch (capacitative) buttons that are unreliable and can't be operated in the dark. And they make an obnoxious beep, which wakes the kids

I totally agree on quality going downhill and lol the beep, i moved to a new place with an electronic lock and it sounds just like the F-ing vornado.... my dog wasnt happy. plus if u have a timing control in those awful buttons and bump it, really annoying while adjusting the fan speeds... power outages and unplugging the fan it beeps as well, on power outages i have to unplug and plug back in for it to work... me and my dogs fav fan still out of the 3 diff. long run a good fan if u keep it clean.
