The rule of pixel is never buy on launch. Always black Friday. They consistently make launch seem like a good deal and undercut it on BF by $200. I write this on my P7, while planning an upgrade in November

FYI - for those ordering from the Google Store, I came across the promo code "supersafshort" on a Reddit thread that gives an extra $50 off. Just pulled the trigger on a P9PXL (ew that acronym) and got the discount successfully - stacked with 10% Google One discount / trade in / $200 credit.

EDIT to add that "supersaf" as of 8.20 is a valid code (original supersafshort seems expired)

When I try to buy any other plan it says the same thing. No matter what I still have to wait for the 30 days to expire on the trial.

So if anyone has a trial period offer do not accept it. You must buy the plan.

I've greatly enjoyed the 6 Pro. seeing how the iphone 13 which was released around the same time will get you almost twice as much while costing less sorta proves my point. I could go even further and say the same about iphone 12 which was released a year before. same with resale value, ebay and swappa shows they lose their value much much faster than iphones or samsung's galaxies. If the pixels switch to qualcomm for their soc and modems I would buy one, cameras are the biggest draw for me and pixels' are the best.

Ah, sure. The Google One discount isn't a promo code - it's auto applied if you are eligible. I haven't tried, but it sounds like maybe actual promo codes can't stack. Don't quote me on that one! 😅
