I did go look at them at Best Buy earlier. Side by side with the marketing content the g4 did look brighter. I know I would be happy with either but I also don't want to have buyers remorse. The higher end processor in the g4 makes me think it could be worth the price and future proof the investment.
One thing to be aware of if you are not wall mounting the c4 comes with stand and the g4 does not and costs around $200.
I think the g4 has a 5 year panel warranty on here the c4 does not?
While they were nice, courteous and it came on time, those idiots happily placed a 65" unit instead of 77". They had quickly walked out and I had to call them back (luckily I noticed) and went into a bit of a fit. Apparently they brought out the wrong box. So they want back to the truck and got me my 77.
I told them to wait till I verify the details of the label. They had the cheek to tell " OH don't worry about it. it is correct. Otherwise it won't let us scan the barcode".
Oh yeah? So what happened the first time around? I got pretty pissed and didn't tip them.
Soundbar came separately and earlier via Fedex, I believe. Both orders were shipped on time and received on time with no delays. So thats the good part.
I am all for good deals. I have been looking for C4 for the past few months. When I saw G4 was on sale for only a few hundred more, I quickly latched on it.
While deals are good, at the end of the day, you spend a lot of time on TV and sound system. Better to get what you believe you will like than over-analyze. I empathize with you as I have been through the same roulette many times before. But I have learnt to put a full stop on overanalyzing things that we use often.
Also, S95T is better than S90T. So I went ahead and bought S95T at 50% off. I spent some time seeing the differences between them, made my decision and then forget about it - so much that I don't remember what were the differences between S90 and S95 - and nor do I care. Decision done, Execution done - over and done with. Period.
