Man, I would much prefer the pixel 7 pro at this price versus $1100 for the equivalent of the pixel 9 pro XL. Pixel has now raised the price by $100 2 years in a row and kept the storage the same.

You could buy this. Use it for a few couple years and by the time you're ready to move on, Pixel 9 pro will be 400 bugs on the resale market and still get five more years of OS updates.

Why wait for a few years when you can literally get a pixel 9 pro xl now for $500 or less now? Just buy a used iPhone 13 pro for $500 and trade it straight in for a pixel 9 pro xl plus you get $200 bestbuy giftcards.

whats the point spending twice as much for almost same thing? I have 7 pro 512 that I bough for 500 after tax, I'll have to spend 600-700 more for same storage 9pro

Is this worth? Or should I wait for renewed/refurb? I don't care much about minor/mild cosmetic issues but definetly want the phone to be functionally in top shape.

Other than a vastly improved display (twice as bright, twice the contrast), more memory, and an improved camera.

Not many people seem to talk about it, but the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor in the pixel 9 series is almost worth upgrading for that reason alone.

And up to 20% faster...processor is garbage for games, I know I had fold 4, day and night difference, Snapdragon is so much better

my 7 pro's fingerprint sensor is horrible. might be worth an upgrade just for that... and for some reason only affects my right (primary) thumb. not my right index, left index, or left thumb o_0

For those struggling with this, it's recommended to register the same finger (or thumb) as multiple fingers. I've done this on the 6 pro and 8 pro, and it helped immensely on both.
