Lights on motion detection works good? How bright is light, like 40 W? I can turn it off completely and any other indicator lights so that people won't see there's a Cam? Because it looks like it would be so easy to steal. Anyone have experience sticking this in a glass covered lamp fixture? Works fine through the glass? Somebody said the black ones may be less reflective in when using through glass? How about overhead installation in recessed porch light, doesn't get faces good directly overhead?
don't have any experience with things like these so excuse the basic question but, if I get SD cards), it records all the footage, And then you take it out periodically to save it? or it transmits it regularly to some kind of storage?…what kind of storage do you recommend or how much storage do you need? I guess it should have some settings where we can automatically erase those that you don't want to save permanently?… and you want the SD card because that's the only way to save some footage without subscription? Otherwise recent footage not saved at all by app?… what is subscription price? Not worth it?…
could someone say anything about comparing using this instead of say a cheap refurbished ring doorbell camera? or some other affordable system? (Do those have free replacement if stolen?) these are definitely easier install… Eventually we'd like to get wired to eithernet system.
I'm buying for at least two household so I would need a bunch so I want to get as much info as I can before, I hate to do refunds also. Looks like these are on sale regularly so I guess I'll try it in one place first, but still like to get a good idea of what I'm getting into.

Since this is two cams, I would suppose it would come with two adapters. As far as people not noticing, this isn't camouflaged so, i think there is an option to only use the night vision at night and not turn on the actual lights around the bulb when it senses movement.
You buy SD cards separately. Yes, one for each cam, and you can view the footage from your app. Wherever that app is, youre phone, or tablet. You can log in on a secure webpage and look live or at recorded video on your laptop, etc. Without SD cards or buying a subscription, you're just looking at a live feed. So, if you want to view past events without a subscription, then yes, SD cards for each cam. It's all pretty well thought out and quite convenient. You really are getting a pretty good bang for your buck, i think. And yes, you do not need a subscription and can view all footage saved to the SD card through all the above methods I listed above.
And as for the copy and Paste stuff I wrote previously, "I have one of these and they work surprisingly well. I was skeptical at first but these are seriously very kool plug and play security cameras that have lights built into them, which may not be the brightest but definitely serve it's purpose when you need a porch light so you aren't forgoing one for the other. Definitely cheap enough for you to try one out and see what you think. If you wanted a security cam and didnt wanna go through the hassle of installation. This is what you need. Another advantage, it has almost complete 360 degrees of movement.
Also, buy an SD card along with this, and then absolutely no subscription is necessary. Of course, they do offer a subscription service that has a few bells and whistles, but you certainly don't need it and it isn't required. Also nice to just peek around from the convenience of my laptop as well. Swivel the cam around, point it up or down, zoom in, zoom out. All very cool features.
You can turn the light on manually from the app, your pc, tablet, or it will turn on if it senses movement, and and as far as the brightness. It's not a 500 watt spotlight but it's good enough to see. I can't tell you exactly how bright but maybe equivalent to a 40 watt light bulb. I'm totally guessing, btw.
I have nothing but positive things to say about it. The night vision is great, the image quality is great. The convenience and plug and play form factor is great. Plus...it's cheap. Like seriously...this price is cheap. If you don't like it..send it back. You got like 30 days or so. But I'm pretty certain that if it fits your needs, you'll definitely be impressed."
Hopefully, I've answered some of your questions and you find this helpful.
It's definitely not camouflaged. Will use it as porch light to scare the cats and raccoon.
