No issues with greenworks products. The only thing I'd say is if your planning to expand your tool lineup on the same battery platform Greenworks has 4 battery platforms for larger tools (mowers, chainsaws, pressure cleaners, trimmers, etc.). 40V, 60V, 80V, and 83V whereas their main competitor EGO has just one battery ecosystem (56V) that works on all tools. Ensure that the 40V has the other tools you may be interested in too.

Get the 80v just make sure you get the 4.0 battery with it. Great YouTube video where a guy tested all the top battery mowers through a variety of tests...he said the 80v greenworks was the best of the group.

Also note that the 80v one is NOT self propelled.

Decent price. Wish there was a ryobi deal, I like their 40v line.

Seems like it would be really tough to do much mowing with just one battery.

Agreed, 40V is way underpowered, especially for lawnmower. And before you try to prove me wrong, just try Greenworks 80V vs 40V for yourself.

You won't get 45 minutes if you have slightly hilly lawn or cut reasonable length beyond 1/3. But will definitely need backup battery.

I am never buying a rear wheel drive lawn mower. If you do a lot of stopping and lifting the front wheels to change direction, You need to let off the forward motion lever to do that easily each time. Front wheel lawn mowers automatically stop going forward because you are lifting the front wheels up.

I have been using this 40V greenworks lawn mower for the past two years. While it is less powerful than a gas-powered mower, it is still capable of effectively cutting grass. However, it is not recommended for cutting overgrown grass, as it may struggle to handle the task. There are numerous reviews and comparisons available online that can provide further insights into the pros and cons of this mower.

If I were to purchase a mower again, I would opt for the 80V model, as the 40V mower does not provide the level of power that I desire. It is worth noting that four 5.0 AH batteries are required to mow my 8000 square foot yard.

I'm surprised by the comments calling 40V underpowered. I've been using a 40V Ryobi going on 2 years now and it's been a beast. I have a nice thick turf and it grows so fast that it's often overgrown when I get a chance to cut it. My old gas mower used to bog down on long grass but the Ryobi actually speeds up and cuts right through it.

I had this mower and returned it. It kept stalling when the grass was thick and the rear wheel power isn't easy to maneuver when turning around. I wouldn't recommend this mower to anyone.
