Any suction or adhesive mounting will eventually weaken over time. If you have big temperature changes in your bathroom, then likely to break sooner

Made from carbon steel with powder coat. It's going to rust after the coating is removed/scratched. Get aluminum which is rustproof forever. You can find them for $20 in home stores like marshall, HomeGoods, etc.

I have a set just like this and mine are going strong for a year now, I love them and they look classy. A set is in the kids bathroom and has held up to a 4 & 9 yr olds abuse.

While obviously correct with enough time, just wanted to say my similar set uses identical large adhesive rectangles and has been perfect for a year and counting. Make sure the shower wall is dry and clean before applying. It's a huge rectangle of adhesive. Holds very strong.

how do you take it off? can you re-apply it later?

I have a 3 piece set (only put up 2) not from this "company" but these are all made by the same Chinese factory. They look better than you'd expect and the adhesive is strong.
