"Tennis shoes" is a regional term for what may also be called "sneakers", "trainers," "runners," "sand shoes," etc. - i.e. rubber-soled athletic shoes.

In the United States, outside of the Northeast, "tennis shoes" is generally the preferred term: http://dialect.redlog.net/staticmaps/q_73.html

Tennis shoes may be used for all activities.

I was not a fan of these but YMMV. They were not comfortable at all, and my heel was getting scraped in them even though they fit fine.

I bought these before, used them for a month or so, and started having ankle pain - changed to new balance shoes.

I really liked the older model much better. This 360 model tends to scrap my heel more. The older/first model they had looked better and were more comfortable.

Definitely a walking shoe. I wouldn't do any sports other than maybe hit the driving range with them.

1) Just wore these without socks (upper is perforated so seemed reasonable) for ~2 flat miles, 45 mins. Ended up with blisters on heels (back is rigid) and toes. Shoes didn't breathe as I expected (sweat and stink may become a problem).
2) I've also worn these once with light socks. Blisters weren't a problem, but still not particularly comfortable.
3) A bit heavier (at least vs standard Crocs) and less flexible than expected.
4) Underfoot was actually supportive and comfortable, as expected.
5) They're decent-looking shoes.

I paid ~$25 on Amazon a while back, would not buy again. Would only recommend if you have the opportunity to actually try them on first (unless you don't mind the hassle of returns or just don't care about throwing away 20-30 bucks). Thanks for sharing, though, OP… pretty good price if they work for your feet and intended uses.

The insole is not removable it's a rubber like material probably Foamposite it's not uncomfortable but it isn't as breathable as you would think. Also the back heel can sometimes cause blisters but I found after wearing them for a bit that went away. I like that they pretty much slide on and I don't necessarily have to wear socks and they have Crocs like comfort and usability but they're not ugly af. One more thing they protect your feet much better than Crocs but I would recommend if worn without socks an occasional "clean out' with 70% rubbing alcohol. Either debris or the material itself can wear a bit on the inside. these are my favorite just get up and go sneakers. I don't find them to be particularly heavy though as someone mentioned.

The cause horrible blisters on the heel for me. Really wanted to like them but I have to tape or bandaid my heel or they are unwearable.

Dang, guess I am glad they are out of 12, lots of complaints form actual wearers here, especially heels.

I wish my feet were that small. At least you had a chance.
