I have this, and I honestly think it's really good. A lot of buyers are using it incorrectly or only using an exhaust hose with no intake.
Wrapping/insulating the exhaust hose apparently helps performance a bunch as well. as expected.
You need to have a hole to put the exhaust hose out.

I doubt you'd want something large like that loose in your car in case you get into an accident.

Since I don't have a dedicated setup yet, I've been carrying the darn thing after unplugging all the hoses to the bathroom to dump out condensation. It's not that humid where I am and I live in socal and yet I have to empty it almost Daily so if you plan on using this Frequently it'll be worth having it hooked up with hose for the water. It's just my case where I really don't want my dog to access that nasty water. Which brings me to my main concern is that the water looks brownish and slightly rusty when left in there long. Not sure if it's for all devices but just my experience.
My intended use was for camping so for me I still don't have buyer's remorse. It'll be if end up taking it camping and it doesn't work out lol. In the end, for what it is, it's overpriced unless it's for a specific need.
It looks cool/sleek and has app control. The battery below has usb/usb c connection points for charging as a portable battery which can be extra useful in emergencies. I found myself using it when my power went out for my 13" laptop, other devices 1.5 months ago.
As far as noise it's like a small dorm fridge. I got 4 vibration pads from Amazon to help minimize it plus a squishy bathroom mat.
I got this when it was listed here from ecoflow eBay refurbished for 1057? After tax so this price is comparable for a new device plus battery.
Edit:
I don't know the size of the room I use it for but I'll post when I get home for sqft reference. And where I am even on a hot day near the coast it's around 78°-85° these days. No direct sunlight on the window vents. Every situation should be different.
I also forgot to mention that it can get the room frosty cool easily/quickly so I'm sure that it'll cool my van easily on eco mode if the ambient temp isn't too high
Thanks! I'll try this out. Efficiency be important, yo

You could also pick up an energy efficient Vornado fan that will circulate the air of an entire room using almost no energy during the day.
This is my current setup at least.

I've used this to heat my kitchen in the fall before kicking on the oil heat. In the summer, it goes back and forth between the garage (which has its own small-scale solar setup) and a family summer home. I've made custom wood window cutouts for each location and the setup is easy.
It's not made for a large area and works much better when the external drainage is left on. overall, it's a great product that's definitely not for everyone.
