This is a re-release of the original shoe from the early '90's. That strap was meant to keep your feet from slipping. It was geared for cross training. It was worn by a lot of professional tennis players.

I got these last time they came up but in a different colorway. The "White/Neutral Grey/Cement Grey/Teal Nebula"

They are awesome, super comfortable. Recommend em

I have the brown/red Shima Shima colorway…highly recommended for lifting. Pain to put on though lol.

I bought these 6 or more months ago, and I frequently get compliments on them. I just wore them yesterday, and some dude walking through the parking lot at the same time as me complimented them. They look pretty cool in person.

That strap looks useless other than to get caught on something. You couldn't pay me to wear these things. it's hard to believe that people actually get paid to design these ugly things.

I have the Marty mcfly colors and the brown. These are super comfortable and I am considering buying another at this price.
