Grabbed this. My coworkers son has leukemia and has to get a marrow transplant. 90 days in hospital. Hopefully this is a good start for him to occupy his time

Very good price. The physical of AC:NH has only been $30 once on Back Friday. So it's a $40-$60 game and like a $100 for the Switch Lite.

It's a good game for everyone, no violence, very kid friendly. Pretty much a designer game if she is into that.

There are various reputable sources, Nintendo themselves being one of them during a shareholder meeting, saying that they will reveal the next console before the end of the current fiscal year.

Source: https://variety.com/2024/digital/...235992962/

Besides that, the Switch is now 7 years old. The largest gap between Nintendo console releases so far has been 6 years. They are more than overdue for a new console.

So there is more than enough evidence at this point to confidently say that it'll be released before the end of 2025.

If Frys was still around, they would have had this for $120 after email coupon code by now.

About time these Nintendos started to bundle a game again.

Spend that much money on a piece of hardware, and it doesn't even come with something to play.

Nintendo won't be lowering the price of the Lite to less than $150, if at all. More so if the Switch 2 costs the rumored $500. This is literally $100-$120 for a new Switch Lite, and $40 for the games. My used GBAs are now worth more than when I got them.

Plus by next year the inflation will Mae whatever price drop that MIGHT happen be meaningless.
I just came across this - 4:20 is when he talks about the Switch 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBd8cI8BTDw

I don't know how you're coming to that conclusion.
Lastly, inflation has not hit electronics as hard as it's hit other goods. I don't really know the reasons for this but it's just facts.
I'm coming from a place of common sense and reality. Things you clearly have no idea about. There is no way that Nintendo will be lowering the price of the Switch Lite to $100, more so with a game included, none.

The Switch was released in 2017 for $300, that $300 in 2017 will be worth $400 in 2025. That's actually a fact unlike all the garbage you just typed.

Bro, you're arguing about common sense regarding unprecedented economic turmoil due to an equally unprecedented global pandemic. There is no common sense to any of it because it's not a common occurrence. We are living in unprecedented times and you're over here trying to "common sense" this using outdated logic.

I don't know why prices for electronics have remained the same over the past few years while everything has ballooned up, but I don't pretend that I know why. It just is a fact. I'm sure some economic analyst knows the reasons. But the point is that all the data indicates to that being the case.

Now, could that change in the next few months? Sure, because again we're in unprecedented times, but if we hold the assumption that nothing changes from now until the end of 2025, then we can still follow historical data and assume that Nintendo will have a $100 Switch on the market around the same time as they release their new console and that it'll be reasonably priced for around $350 (+/- $50).

Yeah but that doesn't necessarily mean anything for the Switch. Not that the 3DS wasn't successful in the end but the Switch is/has been on another level entirely. I guess if anything sees a potential price slash down the line it could be the Switch Lite if they are too many unsold excess units out there, but what I kind of figured Nintendo would do they already did by bundling the Turquoise and Coral (Pink) models with a digital version of a game (Animal Crossing) and keeping the price the same. I would also add that it's worth nothing that the Gray and Yellow variants of the Switch Lite quietly disappeared from brick & mortar retailers sans a price drop.

Oh no im referring specifically to the switch lite, i can definitely see it reaching the 2ds xl price drop. Honestly the 3ds line probably has a greater following if you look at what those systems and games go for now days.

I remember that Target requires the exact same product for price matching. I don't see this turquoise bundle on Target's website.
