Best MBP 14" with M3 Pro chip deal I've seen. If you need an Apple laptop now, jump on this deal asap. If not, wait for the M4/M4 Pro MBP coming at the end of this year.

Insane deal, the lowest it's been by $200 without a total tech subscription.

Also, if you have the Best Buy credit card, check your offers section for $100 back if you spend $1000. Essentially making this $1399 which is nuts.

Anyone think it'll go lower after m4 announcement or release? This is $600 off already, which is unprecedented for apple products not on clearance.

Totally overkill, but if the price is close enough and you've got the budget there's no harm in buying something significantly more powerful

I don't know if it's much of an upgrade but thinking about trading in my 14" M1 MacBook Pro. Difference would be $693 total.

Need feedback. I just bought the 14" M2 Pro, 16g Ram 512g HD from Micro Center for $1299 (https://www.microcenter.com/produ...ter-silver ). Is this M3 worth $200 more?

Thanks in advance for your input.
That is $1399 for the m2 pro, so m3 pro is only $100 more. Yes worth it imo

Do you need a laptop now? Then buy now.

This is probably as low as this will go unless you get lucky and find a clearance deal.
Thanks for the reply. I can wait for a few months if the new Macs will have AI capabilities and thus will have longer product support.

Is it worth it to wait for the M4 Pro MacBook which will be released in October?
Probably not. I'd say 5-15% bump in CPU. Everything else will remain the same for the most part since it's not a redesign (according to rumors).

M2 512GB has bad SSD speed.

Looks like my m1 16gb air is going to last forever
The longer it works, the best deal it is, and you don't have to look for an excuse to buy an M3 now, maybe in 2026

Wow this is a stupid good deal and even Amazon has matched the price too if you have their credit card and want the additional 5% cashback. I bought mine earlier this summer for $1799 as that was a historically low price for this model… I never thought it'd go lower than that lol!
Really? It was $1750 for black Friday/Cyber Monday last year.

Oh my bad I meant to type $1699, which at the time was a better deal than Apple's own back to school sale.

Upgrading from my 16" MBP from 2019 with touchbar (I didn't like the touchbar). I got that for $1979 back in 2020. BB is giving me $600 for trade in of it
Only $850 for 16 inch M1 Mac Pro. Pass.

I'll be riding out my M1 Pro for a long time. I advise anyone to upgrade from an intel MacBook because it's life changing. If you have M1 Pro, no need to upgrade just yet.

Anyone know if Costco normally matches these offers? I know it's not policy but just wondering if they normally follow the sales...I have gift cards I need to use (so have bought the Air M3 for same price but can return). Thanks!

Yeah, I think I'm going to hold off. Even with $55 in gift cards and $65 in rewards after purchase it's just not much of an upgrade. The only thing I'd be getting is a computer that has better trade in value down the road.

Mega pro tip: if you have an older MacBook of any kind, see what they will give you for trade in. The values are extremely high for some of the recent year models. Could make this extra slick for some people!
I bought this laptop about two weeks ago and traded in a bunch of older Apple stuff, their returns are ridiculously high. They offered $360 for an M2 Mini that you can frequently find here for $399 new.

Going to attempt to get $100 back from Best Buy since I paid $1599, but I bought it in person and used trade-ins for gift cards, so I anticipate this is going to be too complicated for me to care Frown
