Great track saw! In a lot of ways, it is comparable or even slightly better than Festool equivalents.

Has anyone used both this and the Ridgid Track Saw that can provide some insight?

I already have the ridgid, and it's fine, but this is such a good deal, if it's substantially better, I'm gonna pick it up.

It's legit one of the best tools that Milwaukee had ever made. Worth the long wait!

I just went ahead and ordered it anyway. I have to imagine it's better, but would still love to hear if anyone has used both.

Its good. But if I'm already invested in Ridgid batteries and a track, I personally wouldnt make the switch—unless you're dually invested into Milly's m18 batteries.

If ya buy one, I'll gladly take the old Milwaukee track saw from ya. Ick! Who'd want an old used track saw when they have a nice new shiny one ?

For some reason the photo wasn't sizing properly for me, glad I clicked on the link. It looks similar to the M12 small cutoff wheel tool for me. That tool is good if you need to get into a weird spot and it's thin otherwise it's too weak and stops constantly.

Struggling to see the point of a 33" track, at the least you should be able to crosscut a sheet of plywood

If it came with the packout case or a 55" track, I might jump but you're looking at an extra $100 to get the 55" track and then still needing a case of some kind.
