Way too many factors come into play, ultimately the one that works best for you is personal.
I would suggest looking to see if you can demo paddles from a tennis/pickleball shop near you.
You can do it from on line sites also, just takes longer.

Depends on your budget and play style, but I like to recommend Vatic Pro as a good starter brand. Their prism line is hard to beat for 100 bucks. Whatever brand or paddle you go with, I would just make sure the material used for the paddle is carbon fiber or kevlar.
