Let be clear on their unlocking policy. There is 365 days waiting time, and also the phone should have service for 180 days within 365 days. This is per my recent conversation with their customer service agent.
Please remember that their unlock policy criteria does not specify automatic unlock regardless of the service time.

You're missing the point here. 99% of us only want to pay $125 1x to get the phone. You want to pay $70 a month for 2 years. Not us😀

Awesome, finally got it working. I had to try about 5 times with different browser and credit cards before Metro accepted it and let me check out.

I needed another iPhone 12 for the pixel trade in deal and 50 dollars cheaper is even better.

Anyone know if I need to activate the iPhone 12 or do anything else with it before trading it into best buy?

I don't want to pay for any extra months of service or anything else

I have this same metro iPhone 12 and it has one massive issue. The phone gets hot very easily. Things as simple as displaying a picture from google photos heats up the phone. It doesn't slow down, but it's extremely uncomfortable to use in the hand when it's so hot.

It has 100% battery health and I bought it 6 months ago

For the pixel deal, I chose a blue iphone 12, if I give them a black, will it void the trade-in?

I bought an Iphone 12 (A) last week to trade in for a Pixel 9 with a new Metro account.
If I buy another Iphone 12 (B) today, and trade in the Iphone 12 (A) that I received. What happens to the overall plan? Would my plan get terminated as the main phone is gone? Or would my plan stay as one line plan?

My plan is to stop paying for the Metro service after 1st month.
