I needed another iPhone 12 for the pixel trade in deal and 50 dollars cheaper is even better.
Anyone know if I need to activate the iPhone 12 or do anything else with it before trading it into best buy?

Let's not be so negative on WFH. A point has been proven that people can keep business not only afloat, but making record profits (yes, that's thanks to WFH), so the point has been proven. Greed will always exist. That's why we have good cop bad cop CEOs that rotate. 1 to implode the company, the other to "save" it. Just a giant board game.
A lot of the innovations aren't implemented today, but give it time. The bots you interact with online, like gpt aren't the best variants as that'd be too much server load and energy usage. That's why companies can build their own infrastructure for training AI, running models or whatever.

Yes, but people always have issues with unlock. Just have to wait and see what happens. Crappy carrier.
Reset it or take it to Apple. Clearly something wrong with yours.
I use this phone daily(currently typing this from the iPhone 12 metro) so it really sucks
