First iPhone12 will cost $124.99.
To activate this line, you have to be able to receive a verification text message on that iPhone12. After you activate it online and have an account at metropcs website, you can add a second iPhone12 for $84.99.

I actually wrote a few pages back:
"I unboxed and activated in order to get service active and do the transfer, yes. And yes, you need to have SMS to that line to log in to account and do the transfer in the first place That's another important note with Metro actually. You need to get the number ported out to another IMEI if you intend to sell the phone as Metro locked. Sure you could use the other SIM of the dual SIM configuration But Metro ties the SIM to the IMEI and the only way to port it to another IMEI is while you have access to the account! For which you need text coming in to it! "
From my experiences with Metro a year ago, when I did a similar deal and then sold the Metro locked phone without doing the IMEI transfer first with SIM in phone, the only way I could do it was to go to a Metro store and pay 25 bucks or so
You can try calling. But it won't work. They need that text so you can get into your account
It makes sense from their end: they want to make sure the locked phone that's tied to someone's account isn't stolen and someone else just stuck their Metro SIM in there
The third wasn't working
