Let be clear on their unlocking policy. There is 365 days waiting time, and also the phone should have service for 180 days within 365 days. This is per my recent conversation with their customer service agent.
Please remember that their unlock policy criteria does not specify automatic unlock regardless of the service time.

You're missing the point here. 99% of us only want to pay $125 1x to get the phone. You want to pay $70 a month for 2 years. Not us😀

I had the same issue, problem is google voice port takes time, I called the Metro port department and they completed the port manually, so now it is working normal, here is the # (800) 518-7519
Thank you!

Update: I called the number above, and a kind lady pushed through the port-in in 5 minutes.

VPN, virtual cc, slight address change but still ships to same place. Same method I used for a bunch of cheap tablets.
I could not use VPN. MetroPCS seems to be blocking them, at least from my VPN provider, even for US IPs.
I used different phone data line (wifi off), different CC, and slightly different address, but still no luck. Guess I am gonna have just one phone.
Metro Cust Service was unable to help complete any orders past the first one.

Boost Mobile will give you a iPhone 15 for $70 per month, you only pay taxes upfront and you can upgrade each year at no cost. I think it's a much better deal than Metro.
I did this! Twice actually! Samsung Ultra 24 1TB, & Apple iPhone 15 Pro (honestly thought it would be bigger and more badass ...🙄-

Service has been decent overall some issues with navigation dropping out in South Bay area, but overall giving my current financial presentation and the fact that they said yes twice for a couple Grand and devices made it worth it in my book to try it out!

have you pulled the trigger yet? 😂🙄Go Boost Infinite! 🤙🏻

Trying to buy one to gift to a metro user on an ancient iPhone 10.

So visible 5 dollar plan, port number out. Receive the new iPhone and then what? Just use their SIM right away or activate the phone on the new account first?

Then cancel/turn off auto pay?

You'll need to change the IMEI to which the plan is tied to (the one you're signing up for) because Metro ties SIM card to IMEI

Once it's moved to another phone or device, iPhone 12 can be added to other Metro user's account online by adding its IMEI

If you wait till service lapses, above not necessary

I remember reading it's automatic activation on 20th day from shipping date if you don't activate.

I have a question, I have Metro the 25 a month plan single line and if I was to add a line and get this deal how much would it cost total? the 12 is too old to use imo but maybe apple can give 300 trade in for it.

I don't want to lose my plan.

So I would need a spare metro compatible gsm phone? Blah.
