If buying with InstaCart make sure to get the GC from Costco first, $80 for $100 worth, and you can get 2 of them; effectively offsetting the higher instacart price vs the in warehouse price.

I think RTINGS [rtings.com] has a decent summary of the differences between the C3 and C4

Costco will not be getting the 42", there is no market for it at costco.
Not at stores (never seen any 42 model around me anyways), but im willing to bet it will show up online eventually like before.

And its not that theres no market for it. Previous 42" models rarely went on sale with Costco online. 48 and 55 all the time, but just standard price adjustments for the 42 for its shelf time. Been shopping the 42 since C1 days...theres high demand for it with desktop users.

The green tint at angle with the C4 is an instant no purchase IMHO. Very disappointing that LG doesn't admit this is a problem and fix it. Prior C models didn't have this occur. Id get a C2 or C3...

I just ordered one for that exact purpose. I've been planning to get a 42" for a while, but this deal is just too good, and I don't want to wait.

How much of a difference could an extra 6" make?
I'd hold out for the 42". A curved 48" works okay but it becomes hard to see the corners if you get a flat one.

I have a 42 inch lg oled c3 in my bedroom and I think it's the perfect size. 48 inch would be too large for the bedroom imho.
Same here... I use it as a second, primary monitor for my pc and the size is pretty much great for my needs.

Basically for 24" 1080p monitors compared to 20.5"

Just bought this TV and using it as a computer monitor. It's amazing. Upgraded for a 240hz 34in lg oled ultra wide. I'm only pushing 112 fps in HD2 while in 1440p I was pushing over 150 lol. I'm not set on a flat panel as I love the 800r curve buy man this thing is gorgeous. I have a really deep desk and the 48in is just about perfect.

This is not a YMMV deal, this is a company markdown for warehouses. The usual YMMV are deals where one a certain store that is not moving the item gets a mark down. This is a markdown for all warehouses.
Ah that explains my sudden luck! Anyway, held off on yielding to my impulse to purchase on this one. So for anyone looking to get one, check out that store (Shoreline, WA)

Anybody else getting their OTA channels deleted on LG OS?

LG has been updating their OS several (3-4) times since May and in July they screwed up my channels. It didn't bother me that I lost a main station with sub channels because I didn't watch much live TV. But football season is on its way and I can't get the TV to recognize CBS / Fox / ION. My kitchen TV works fine on the same split line.

LG OS is getting annoying.

Besides factory reset, anybody got any solutions?

I've rescanned several times and tried to manually add it to no avail.

So how come it's only available online at that price, with Instacart? Is there a way to purchase it online for this price without using instacart?

You said it desktop users, costco members don't go in there looking for a 42" OLED TV. I can tell you because I work for the electronics department.

Wasn't there a similar color tint issue specifically with the 42" C3 model?
