What does us/ec/ud11/ud mean? I have seen some 4k movies on Amazon that have these kinds of descriptions in the title of the items and some 4k ones that don't? Are they different versions?

Don't like her as a person and lots of eye rolling parts in the movie BUT it is an entertaining film, have watched it a few times.

The numbers this movie did in the box office is a fact.
I was one of the people went to watch that movie in the theater. I felt i got tricked into having to see it to prepare for End game, it was such a mediocre movie and definitely did not deserve 1 Bil.

The second flopped hard because the audience get wiser.

The second flopped because it was released post-pandemic, during an actors and writers strike which meant no publicity via interviews.

Movies don't "deserve" their grosses, they either sell tickets or don't. I can list half a dozen movies that made a billion dollars that I thought were terrible. It's completely irrelevant to their box office.

True, but then the the first relied heavily on the good will of MCU to get pass Bil instead of its own merit. And i dont recall there were praise for the second, even as words of mouth.

The bottom line, this is a mediocre movie, and personally i find its writing bad and boring, unlikable characters, fake cgi fest, and regret seeing it.

Why do you keep arguing that the film did things to pass a billion dollars in box office like there's some sort of checklist it followed, or the film itself is sentient? People bought more tickets to the first one than the second one for a myriad of reasons.

I enjoyed the film just fine and got a copy for $10 a few years ago as it seemed like a reasonable price to me. You're stating your opinions like they're facts.

"relied heavily on the good will (sic) of MCU to get pass (sic) Bil (sic) instead of its own merit." is not an opinion. It's a weird attempt at analysis that assumes movies deserve or are worthy of their final box-office totals and it sounds like you think the movie tricked its way into making a billion dollars. Enough people decided to give it a try, which is the only true metric of box office success.

Plenty of MCU films before Captain Marvel didn't make a billion dollars. This one did. There's no such thing as worthy or undeserving of a billion-dollar box office gross. Love it or hate it, but there is no metric for a film "deserving" a billion dollars. It simply sold enough tickets.
