However NACS has been named the standard going forward, so the rest will be phased out (slowly).

Ok folks, I have a good news. I was able to get hold of someone at Wallbox and she told me that they have all orders info. She even opened my order using my order no. that I provided. Up until 19th Aug, they had normal orders but on Aug 20th, they received an influx of orders. 27 orders on 19th vs 400+ orders on 20th. Surprisingly, Fisker did not pre-inform them about the sale and they came to know about it when customers started calling them to inquire. I placed my order on Aug 24th and that day alone has more than 300 orders. She said Wallbox has more than 1500 orders from this sale. They have started shipping the chargers. It's just gonna take time to fulfill all orders. She was relieved when I told her it's out of stock on Fisker's website. Lol. The chargers will be shipped from Texas. She asked me to call again by next Thursday if I don't receive any shipping confirmation email by then.

She was surprised at the sales price and said she paid more than $400 when she got hers even after using her Wallbox employee discount. Lol.

Don't worry fellas, it's coming. Just give it some time😊. You never know it might just show up without any shipping confirmation email.

Does the app let you fine tune the amperage or are there only preset amounts? If presets, what are the presets? My outlet is supposed to be rated for 50A but it struggles with 48A and will often trip the breaker. On my bmw charger the next lower preset is 32a but I think my outlet can probably handle 40a. Also, when the charge is interrupted for any reason, will the app notify you. My stupid bmw app does not, even though it's supposed to.
Can this do 110v level 1 charging with standard electrical outlet?
If your outlet is rated at 50A then the max charge rate is 40A, 80%/125% rule. NEC Article 210.19(A)(1)

I do remember that, thanks for the reminder. I started with tesla and their mobile charger which is at 32a so I never really cared until I moved to a bmw. So this 40a charger actually makes more sense. But that's why I was asking about how customizable is the amperage. Would be great if I can set it to like 38a for safety.

Anyone know if you can set a Soc or timer on the app for the charger to stop charging?

NJ has a rebate for some level 2 chargers, including Wallbox Pulser models. Will this qualify? What's the model number of this charger?
This is a good question for this unit, because earlier units didn't qualify, but later ones did.

I bought this Wallbox from Costco last August for $450, gambling that I'd get the one that qualified for the electric company rebate, which had attribute xxx (was it Energy Star rating? I forget, and couldn't find it in a quick search). Unfortunately for me, although the charger model number was the same, mine came without the key attribute. You'll have to do some searching for what qualifies, and then hope the Fisker site has that information for the units they're selling.

Although I never made the WiFi connection (it's only for charging a PHEV and I like to limit the charge to 80%), it's been great, especially considering it's on an unprotected outside wall five houses away from the Atlantic Ocean on an island (LBI).

It's coming back to me, people were saying the change made to the new units was to shut off the light on the unit after a while, rather than having it on steady, which makes me think maybe the key attribute for qualifying for the rebate was Energy Star. But you should check.

If you can get an electrician to install a 240v, 50amp breaker for the 14-50 for cheap, this is the better alternative. You can buy this or even use a tesla mobile charger which also has the 14-50 adapter plug.

*Based on Model 3, rear wheel drive, which can only pull 32amps.

This is a great deal. It also works with charger sharing services like https://evspot.io to make money sharing your EV charger.

This - it will save you money, Tesla would have already come with the adapter. Leave the adapter permanently on it.

((841)) Error validating card/account number range

Error every time I try to pay. Unsure if I missed the deal or if Fisker is borked like usual. Will keep trying. Anyone else get this error?

Zero Warranty, basically
Should be almost zero use for a warranty. I sell chargers for a living, sold hundreds, never had one come back broken. I suppose though there is a bit more to go wrong on a Wifi unit like this, but still...

Is this much better than the $100 Chinese knockoffs you see on Amazon? Trying to see if it worth saving money.

Yes, you can set the max current in the app. I have mine on a 30A circuit, so I have it capped.

Don't think you can use it on 110v without serious modifications.
