Wonder how it compares to US Mobile. Price wise it's better because their unlimited plan is $25. Won't be able.to port anyway since it's all verizon.
I am wondering the same.. if Tmobile MVNO's end up working (will need to wait a month and get data points), could swap your account's network from Verizon to T-Mobile using the USMobile website and then sign up for this deal.. I'm in the same boat, but don't think it will be an option

Yeah I chose US Mobile over Visible because to my knowledge US doesn't throttle as much.

perfect timing, since T-Mobile added $5 per line for the 55+ grandfather plan, been trying to find a reason to leave. At $70 for two lines, that plan was no longer competitive.

Indefinitely?

EDIT: nevermind, $695 annual fee, yikes. even after you factor in the $200 clear credit and $200 incidental (only 1 airline lol) plus $120 in cell phone credits, you still haven't recouped the cost. those are the most common credits I can see, the others are a lot more fringe cases.

I think penfed pathfinder is a cheaper and better card. you get global entry/pre check for free and also $100 annual incidental airline credit (across multiple carriers). annual fee is easy to waive with a $500 checking balance

on the subject of this deal, it wouldn't be difficult to port to mint and then immediately into visible. buy like 1 month of mint service. if you have multiple lines, they're running a promo right now where you can get up to 5? lines for $15 total for a few months. maybe ride that, then switch
i'll copy and paste when the other guy asked, but if you dont wanna read it, at the very least the first year bonus is $2000, which you can convert into cash or if you transfer to travel partner is worth $4000, so you just covered the $695 in 1 swoop already. and then here are the cherry on tops:

I actually have 4 of them, 1 for each of my "business", and i'll tell you why:

200,000 signup bonus = $2k if you convert into cash, but if you transfer to airline its worth 3-4x so you can get $6-8000 business class flights for $2k or less in points

$400 in dell credit, you can use to buy computers, accessories, logitech mice and stuff but if you don't have a use, you can resell on reddit/discord for 80% value, so at minimum thats $320.

Airline Fee Credit $200, you can buy United Giftcard for $200 to use for future use OR sell at 60-70% value, so at minumum $120-$200 worth of value.

$199 clear credit - I'm not sure this is of value since clear is starting to suck, BUT they have promotions where you get either $100 travel credit or $75 uber credit with signup, so at minimum $75 value.

then the $120 wireless credit ofcourse.

so at bare minimum where dont use any of the services but redeem as straight up CASH, thats $2635 - $695 each card, then multiply by 4.

I'm traveling around the world with my Player 2 on business/first class for basically "free"

Edit: also Global Entry / TSA Precheck for free, which usually cost $100. theres still some value in tsa precheck since it gets you through security faster.

welcome to the world of churning.

If you port out of Mint in the middle of a pre-paid annual plan do you just forfeit the balance? I assume you don't get a refund, but do they keep it as a credit on your account for future use?

Make sure you read the terms of service details. I am on several Visible plans for $20/month for 2yrs. If you switch the sim to a different phone or change the plan, you will lose the $5/month discount promo.

The terms of service for this promotion don't mention anything about switching the sim to a different phone and losing the $10 discount. It does say you can't change the plan though.

If there are other terms of service for this specific promotion that someone can find mentioning switching the sim to a different phone and losing the $10 discount, please post. It would be good to know if that's the case...because it's not that unusual to get a new phone every so often.

I agree, I didn't see anything in the TOS about switching phones.

But it says postpaid account, isn't Mint prepaid? Will Visible take back your discount later?
He'll find out in 30 days when his billing switches to $25 a month automatically.

I can't imagine keeping the same phone for 5 years on a 15.00/mo plan. But I'll check with their chat agents about this should the need ever arise.

Any idea when this offer will expire? I would like to sign up before my service ends end of this month.

usually postpaid plans will prorate your money, unless you already have a prepaid and paid for service already. I just signed up, and the speeds are very comparable to T-Mo, the additional hotspot was definitely a plus, whereas T-Mo only gave 2G hotspot speeds.
