Both have RCS support.
Both have Wifi Calling
Tmobile supports Vo5G (5G for Voice calls) and let you change network back to 3G/4G
Visibile doesn't support Vo5G and it defaults to 5G and you can't change the defaulted network.
Google internet speed test:
Visible: Random Results for each retry can be from ~6 to 40Mbps for download and ~1.2 to 4Mbps for upload.~28ms latency
T-mobile: ~386Mbps download ~20Mbps upload 8ms latency
Fast.com data test for watching videos online (both network force speed cap on videos without VPN):-
Visible: ~1.6/1.8 Mbps (~19Mbps with VPN)
T-mobile: ~2.0/2.3Mbps (~280Mbps with VPN)
"Port pending - waiting for number to be released
We're waiting for your old carrier to release xxxxxxxxx to Visible, but it's taking longer than usual. If you don't hear from us in the next 48 hours, please reach out to your old carrier about the delay."
that message has been there for 12 days. so does that mean transfer / porting failed? or just waiting for me to activate the new sim card?
Was very easy to port in numbers and everything went smoothly.
I ported secondary line first by making an account on visible then used its promo code for the second line now my next bill for one line is $15 and $5 for the second.
I'm in nyc (brooklyn) and i always had two bars at home now i have 4 bars constantly and hoping it will work fine outside.
I use wifi at home and at work so I'm not really concerned abut the data, as long as i don't drop calls and get decent internet when I'm not connected to wifi I'm ok with it.
P.S it would save $40 and some change every month if things go well.

When I activated, my previous carrier was disconnected and Visible was connected right away. It was very fast. I think it was fast because Visible already had my number.
In your case, you will need to contact your previous carrier and Visible.
One thing to be careful about is that you keep your old carrier account until you activate. Even if Visible has the number, keep your old carrier account until you activate.

Vis sends a pending port request to your old carrier to approve or deny the request -- if your port info is correct and there are no port out blocks then you should get an email saying "your old carrier approved the release of your number" (port will finish when you activate Vis service)
If you have any number port out blocks with your old carrier then disable that -- otherwise contact Vis to see if there are any errors in your port info for you to correct (account number or port out pin)
Another option is to just finish activating Vis sim then work with Vis and your old carrier to complete the port process (correct whatever errors they're seeing)
