Their basic plan was unusable for me(hard to get service in Los Angeles since youre deprioritized).
Their upgraded plan is great tho.

If you live in a large metropolitan area, you will constantly be deprioritized and suffer low data speeds on this particular plan. Consider this more of a backup option for that scenario.

Tested side by side Pixel9P with T-mobile Postpaid (esim) vs Pixel8P with Visible Basic (Trial esim)

Location: Chicago west suburbs

Both have RCS support.
Both have Wifi Calling
Tmobile supports Vo5G (5G for Voice calls) and let you change network back to 3G/4G
Visibile doesn't support Vo5G and it defaults to 5G and you can't change the defaulted network.

Google internet speed test:
Visible: Random Results for each retry can be from ~6 to 40Mbps for download and ~1.2 to 4Mbps for upload.~28ms latency
T-mobile: ~386Mbps download ~20Mbps upload 8ms latency

Fast.com data test for watching videos online (both network force speed cap on videos without VPN):-

Visible: ~1.6/1.8 Mbps (~19Mbps with VPN)
T-mobile: ~2.0/2.3Mbps (~280Mbps with VPN)

i got the sim card, not activated yet. when i log into visible, it says
"Port pending - waiting for number to be released
We're waiting for your old carrier to release xxxxxxxxx to Visible, but it's taking longer than usual. If you don't hear from us in the next 48 hours, please reach out to your old carrier about the delay."

that message has been there for 12 days. so does that mean transfer / porting failed? or just waiting for me to activate the new sim card?

Just got it done from tmo 55+ two lines.
Was very easy to port in numbers and everything went smoothly.
I ported secondary line first by making an account on visible then used its promo code for the second line now my next bill for one line is $15 and $5 for the second.
I'm in nyc (brooklyn) and i always had two bars at home now i have 4 bars constantly and hoping it will work fine outside.
I use wifi at home and at work so I'm not really concerned abut the data, as long as i don't drop calls and get decent internet when I'm not connected to wifi I'm ok with it.
P.S it would save $40 and some change every month if things go well.
How are you liking the service? Im in BK as well. Did you have any issues porting one number at a time since you have 2 lines on your tmo account? I have 2 numbers on my prepaid tmo account. Im worried that if I port one number over, it will close the account and Ill end up losing the second number.

In my case, the Visible app said that Visible has my number. This does not mean that the number transfer has been completed. It just means that Visible has my number. I am still using my previous carrier.

When I activated, my previous carrier was disconnected and Visible was connected right away. It was very fast. I think it was fast because Visible already had my number.

In your case, you will need to contact your previous carrier and Visible.

One thing to be careful about is that you keep your old carrier account until you activate. Even if Visible has the number, keep your old carrier account until you activate.

Might want to remove your phone number in your post if that's your actual number

Vis sends a pending port request to your old carrier to approve or deny the request -- if your port info is correct and there are no port out blocks then you should get an email saying "your old carrier approved the release of your number" (port will finish when you activate Vis service)

If you have any number port out blocks with your old carrier then disable that -- otherwise contact Vis to see if there are any errors in your port info for you to correct (account number or port out pin)

Another option is to just finish activating Vis sim then work with Vis and your old carrier to complete the port process (correct whatever errors they're seeing)

Thank you! I didn't notice the number was there. i never got the "your old carrier approved" message........ But my old carrier didn send me a "sorry to see you go" message, even though, it never stopped the service.

thanks again for the tip

PairVPN is free. Install it on your phone as server. Install it on your computer as client. Connect via hotspot. Then start the PairVPN setup process following the prompts. Then you changed Visible unlimited hotspot from 10 mbps to 100 in two minutes.
any way to let a TV be the client ?

Any word on whether Metro Pcs works for this? Can we port a number for Metro to Visible and expect the $15 per month to stay?

Trying to comprehend why they wouldn't want the promo to apply to visible+ as well. Wouldn't they rather people sign up at $35/mo than $15? They're losing the same $10 either way. They worried about the network getting overloaded?

Anyone know of another carrier promo for single line T-Mobile user looking to leave for a similar premium unlimited 5G with hotspot plan?
