Interesting. 19mm paddle so it's definitely a control paddle. Probably doesn't generate enough power. Good for the short game?

I am worried the sweet spot is too small. It looks like it's designed to be for intermediate and advanced players but it's marketed to amateurs?

Plus, the grip size is definitely on the large side.

Reviews elsewhere ( reddit etc) doesn't seem too high on these paddles - smaller sweetspot and not enough power. Some compared it with $40 paddles, so doesn't seem like much of a deal.

I think the general consensus is just get a cheap $40 paddle like Garye Pro XL or Juciao on Aliexpress for starting out and then once you've gained enough experience then get a $100 Vatic paddle and that should be good for a long time.

I've owned this for a couple of weeks now. Been playing overall for about 5 weeks pretty regularly. It's considerably better than the basic paddles we were using (4 for $60 or so), but I've also never used anything nicer, so I can't compare it to anything.

I would recommend for a first "decent" paddle, but I wouldn't talk a pro into believing that it's amazing. That said, I've had a number of people at the courts tell me they have the same one and really like it.

I am kicking myself I did not get THIS deal though!
