Considering the RTX 3050 is the entry level for gaming it's far far FAR from mid range gaming.

That's the kind of laptop I'm trying to get for my older in-laws. I see these really solid prices on components that are usually much more expensive, but this is a time where I'd sacrifice GPU prowess for a strong processor, nice screen, lighter weight, and better battery life (at least better than any laptop with a dedicated GPU)
