$50 Amazon jumpers are usually just a lipo inside. Which will swell up and break sitting in a hot car fully charged. This jumper is totally different. It uses heat tolerant super capacitors. It can siphon off your "dead" lead acid starter battery to charge the super capacitors and jump start the car. Or it can charge up in under a minute from a wall socket or 12v socket from another car. It also has a built in lithium battery just in case you are in the middle of nowhere and your starter battery is at 0v. That battery can degrade as much as it wants in the heat, and it will not affect the current output ability if the jumper.

You can get a jump starter with the same power but in a size you can put in your pocket. For around 50 bucks, on Amazon.

I've had a bunch of people tell me it won't be powerful enough to start their truck. But it always does.

I can't understand why anyone would buy one of these anymore. Unless you live under a rock...that Amazon can't deliver to.

Recently I've been seeing a bunch of good deals on these online.
Edit, not THESE. I mean the good ones that fit in the glove box.
Lmao. This can start 40 cars. Where the lil boost pack can only handle a few cranks

I also left out the biggest feature of supercapacitors. It will make full cranking amps well into subzero temps.

No that's not true either. My little battery doesn't need to recharge for 10's of jumps at least. Usually takes a couple cranks but I've pulled it out of the back after sitting for a year or two and it still works and it's still got 3 or 4 bars out of 4. So that will give me at least ten more jumps (but dies faster if I haven't charged it in a long time.) I've had this thing for like ten years and it hasn't swelled.

I'm not sure it can do all that yours does. What I am sure of though is that it does everything I need it to do and stores easier and hasn't failed to start any vehicle I've tried it on....and can be used to charge my phone or laptop too. So for most people, it's just better.

You guys sound like a stream of people who tell me it won't work. And then ask where they can get one when it does. I live in Connecticut so hot and freezing temps haven't killed it either.

Smaller one works too, when you need to run a car with dead alternator, good luck. jNC helped me a lot on that. When an alternator is dead and you need constant power from a battery, this is to go. Can run a car for 30 minutes. Also some cars will turn off if voltage of battery is low, like Chevy express van. With JNC, you can run and drive them connected to the car. Small devices like NOCO's would not help with it. Recharging jNC is easy, leave it on the car and ready in 10 minutes with full charge. Last, all NOCo's I bought last time is gone after 3-4 month of use. This stay strong for 2 years and battery is replaceable.

Hmmm...this is interesting. You mentioned that you can leave it hooked to a car and drive it. This may be possible if you just need to move the car from street to driveway with the hood unlatched. With such a large form factor, how will you latch the hood with it still hooked up to your car battery. Most modern car's engine compartments are so cramped, I don't see how this can be accomplished. But, it is useful if it can aid in moving the vehicle in short distances. I have an older Clore jnc660 with a lead acid battery inside and for a few years, it worked great but then I fail to keep it charged once a month, and it's now it's useless. On a full charge, it may start 1 car and then the capacity drops greatly Frown
