Replaced all packaging with a cardboard slip at most (money saved for the company).
Digital only copies for the same or higher price (money made for the company).
Impossible to trade or resell old or crappy games (more money made for the company).
Selling incomplete/partial games with the rest behind paywalls/expansions (even more money for the company).
I could go on and on, but I think I've made my point. There is no reason to feel like they're cheaper for the consumer.
Just incase if anyone looking for one

That said, if this game had been given "the Witcher" treatment, it would have been incredible and if deserved that. The HP genre has such a deep pool to pull from. I mean, it is wholly made of fantasy, the sky was the limit and unfortunately the whole experience felt trapped like Dobby.
There were moments in the game where the nostalgia was overwhelming, I wish that same level of excitement could have been felt through the entire play through. Not withstanding, the HP game takes around 26 1/2 hours to complete, the base Witcher 3 game is double that and with all the side quests it can stretch to over 180 or if being pedantic almost 480 hours.
Just an example of how much was left on the table.

Played through shortly after the Sorting Hat on the Steam Deck. For anyone wondering how it plays, opinions kind of vary wildly on reddit. I haven't gotten to Hogsmeade which is the more taxing area from what I understand, but I've been running on all Low settings except Texture quality at Medium. I turned off any of the upscalers because I think they make the image a little soft or fuzzy in this game. Set the frame limit to 30 and it's been consistent, with a few "hitches" where it'll drop to 25 for a second, but that feels less like a horsepower problem and more like a game problem. But thats infrequent, it's definitely playing well so far and I'm enjoying it. I think with FSR 2 you could likely get a consistent 40fps with some minor hitches or slowdown. Don't let "low settings" scare you. The game looks quite good with the lowest settings on the small screen.
