I bought these awhile back when I did some reseach for shoes with wide side to side gripping action.
I've be using them for raquetball and they are working great. Probably great for picklelball also.
The do run tight, so maybe a 1/2-1 size higher

If you're looking for max comfort and cushion the 7 is much better.

I agree with comment above, I'm usually 11 but I had to go to 12 in size for these. This is the reason these are on sale everywhere. Also check your local Kohls, they are on clearance with extra 50% off. I paid $35 for mine (tax included).

That's interesting cuz the 7s run big. I would just never consider the 8s with downgraded cushioning.

I've seen the 7s go for $38 at outlets. ymmv
