Non-ethanol gas is dramatically better than regular gas, and even better than regular gas plus stabilizer.
The alcohol in regular gas evaporates easily, attracts water, and is more prone to leaving deposits that makes carburetors work poorly or not at all.
A number of years ago, I switched from using regular gas to non-ethanol gas in my yard equipment. It's made a dramatic difference in the reliability of all of my equipment.
I have a Sportsman 1000 watt generator that I leave fueled with non-ethanol gas at all times. I cut off the fuel when I am done with it so it runs the gas out of the carb. It ALWAYS starts on the first or second pull, even if I've left it for six months or more.
