You'll have to use Chrome translate, since the website is only offered in spanish, however, getting an eSIM is super simple, no IMEI required, plus you can checkout with US cards or PayPal. They email you a QR code (check spam), scan it, and you're good to go, no account creation needed.

Lots of plans to pick from, including on the next page over to the right, 20gb for 15 days for $6.03*, and smaller plans too.

Plus, you can use some of the data on Verizon, ATT or Tmo here in the US. When they cut you off is unknown, but AFAIK, it's the only eSIM out there that lets you connect to all three carriers in the US. Might be good option for a backup if you're doing a cross country roadtrip too and want access to all three carriers in an emergency.

*MXN to USD FX rates fluctuate.

They use the Altan network, which doesn't appear to have their own coverage map, but here's are some third party ones.

I had that problem, but checking and unchecking the eSIM option a couple of times seemed to fix it.

I think "Share data from your cell phone" = hotspot, while some plans say "No data to share"

My main number is on Tello and I pay about $8 after tax for 1GB data & 100 mins of talk (sms is unlimited). I then pay for the same plan option the day before the month ends to carry over data/mins and allow it to accumulate. Finally, I purchase many prepaid cards (not caring about sms & mins) around Black Friday and activate the data when needed. Since prepaid cards purchased on Ebay, Amazon, Best Buy, Target, etc don't require activation up to 2 years, I'm good for the whole year. Rinse and repeat each year..... This Mexican plan will be on my list of services I'll call upon when needed!

I'm glad it works for you, but it seems like a lot of work for cell phone service in 2024.

Does anyone know what carrier this might work off of in Mexico? This would be perfect for an upcoming trip I have since T-Mobile only allows 5GB mexico roaming now.
