They're sitting on 4 billion cash and practically debt free, so I think the credit will be fine.

That is what you would call fraud and one can only hope karma bites you in the arse one day for doing that. If that is in fact what you are doing.

So I traded mine in for $247 last Thursday.

It didn't pop up in my store as being available to sell until this past Saturday.

I checked Tuesday and it was no longer in stock.

So these are selling

So they gave me $247 in store credit and turned around and sold it for $275. They made $28 on that transaction

But with this bonus, they are only making $3 after selling it 😂

Yes. I just did mine today and you need to bring in:

-Console
-HDMI cable
-Power cord
-Controller

I also recommend having it fully updated when you bring it in, as they will update it on their WiFi and it took quite a while in the store I was in (I hadn't turned it on in months) and don't reset it before you bring it in. If you reset it before you bring it in, they have to set it up and log in and it takes extra time. If you bring it in with your stuff on it, it will be faster and they will factory reset it in front of you.

Controllers have been going down to 30-40ish on good sales and I'd bet Black Friday will have similar prices. I wanted to keep my controller but this trade in deal is too good, I'll just wait for a controller deal. Preferably at Gamestop so I can use the gift card haha.

Exactly. Microsoft sending their exclusives to Playstation, why get the machine that will have the fewer amount of games. Would not surprise me if they gimp their next console again by releasing another S model too, holding all games back since they have to make sure their games work on the shittier console.
Curious. Why come on an Xbox thread and post. Lol. You guys are like Apple Fanboys. Will waste time trying to prove to anyone that the PS is leaps and bounds better. Lol. How that PS5 Game Pass. I own both. Since GOW the PS5 sits and collects dust. Anyone looking for a PS5. Hit me up.

I have both too genius. Clearly one is better than the other. The only reason Im not getting rid of the series X is because I have Ultimate until July 2027 with the conversion method. Most games on gamepass are shovelware.

5:1 lifetime sales PS5 vs xbox s/x. Yeah, clearly one is the superior and everyone knows it.

Im not saying I do it , or condone it, but CLEARLY, people are doing it , and clearly they can with ease, because Gamestop doesnt have qualified people working in their stores to successfully deal in retro games... thats why they have a lot of bootleg pokemon games and super scratched / messed up retro stuff... order some retro game disc from Gamestop, watch a 1/15 chance you are getting a good looking disc with the cover and stuff

Folks who bought and played the Series S since Nov 2020 immensely benefit this deal.

It unwise to sit on credit for extended periods of time. It meant to reduce $ on XYZ and inflation isn't helping. Granted there nothing to lose by waiting as GS isn't going out of business but at some point credit gotta be used. Moving the goal post again and again for the sake of better deal isnt doing u any favor lol
I traded mine in for the 197 cash unfortunately.

But no disc drive Frown
We have an X, an S, and another X NIB in the closet. What I learned is that my kids care about two games: Fortnite and Roblox. They don't need a disc drive. What they wanted was the ability to play online multiplayer games with each other.

For those that have not looked at the form factor of the S. It is quite small. It fits in compact locations much better (for example in our basement bar/kitchen behind the television. You can't really wall mount and hide a full size console. We use it for games and streaming video.

Also, have you seen a disc after 4 kids have had it?

Right guy, cuz crime and being an immoral pos is okay if it's a big bad corporation.

If you actually cared about employees just trying to make a living, then you wouldn't risk them getting fired by doing shady shit like this.

Anyone know what I'd get with a white 512 with no controller? Thanks
I'm genuinely curious why this was downvoted 7x?

Surely plenty of other people have upgraded from the 512 Series S to a Series X and would like to trade it in but keep their controller. So what is the value with no controller? This is a very relevant question to this deal.

When I click the link in the app to get the trade value, it doesn't add the additional $25. Is that added at the store?? Thanks.
