Anyone compare this with the Scotch Heavy Duty shipping tape? I normally grab those from Costco but they haven't had a deal in at least a year. This seems like a good price, assuming it functions OK as shipping tape as I don't so much need the long-lasting part.

Heavy duty, and each comes with it's own dispenser. I leave these things all over the house in different areas (workshop, garage, toolbox, kitchen drawer, gift wrapping station, etc). Love these things.

Yeah but you get half the amount of tape so it is essential double the price of this deal

This stuff isn't as sticky as Scotch tape, but it's decent. Much superior to Duck brand tape.

If you need tape, this is a decent deal.

Also, you can probably put the OP deal in one of the other dispensers. I've had tape fail in the attic, which is what this stuff seems good for. I store things like mason jars or my carboys and empty wine bottles until my next batch of mead. I don't care if glass gets hot, but I like to keep the dust out.
