Saw this offer on multiple chase cards. Language is a little unclear as to whether two payments with the first being small and the second being $50 would qualify or if you need 2x $50 payments, but here it is. I got it 3/6. Word is there might be a VZ version floating around but I have not seen it personally.

How much is the auto pay discount? I'm still paying with my chase credit card
I'm pretty sure the purpose of these offers is to encourage people to shop at places they don't usually go to or spend on services they don't already use. You probably won't be targeted for T-Mobile offers because you've already paid your bills with a Chase card.
Keep auto pay on but pay early with credit card. As long as you pay before autopay and don't turn it off, you still get autopay discount and pay with card

This makes me wonder what they really mean by the offer being expired on 10/14. Does it mean that the offer must be added to the card by that date, or that at least one payment must be made before that date? The offer is moved to the expired tab on 10/14; however, it's going to be shown on the expired tab if you haven't made the second payment by 10/14 anyways whether or not you make the first payment before 10/14. So, I'm a little puzzled.
For example, would this offer be triggered if I make two payments today, considering it says the offer expires on 8/26 while payments must be made by 10/10?
Make 2 payments of $37.5 each and get cash back of $75. I don't have AT&T so can't use this.
I have T-Mobile but chase credit card is not showing the T-Mobile offer.
First, I dedicate a "sock drawer" bank account for autopay (Tmobile seems to allow themselves to get hacked every other month, they aren't getting my main bank account!). I leave enough in that account to cover a monthly bill plus around $50. If I forget or have an emergency, all the bill is covered that month. Set that up on Tmobile as my "Autopay" account.
NOW- Once the bill comes out, I log in to Tmobile and make a one-time payment from my preferred CC for a few cents less than the full bill. Depending on my mood I configure to pay it that day or in the future at least 5 days before Tmobile pulls from the Autopay account. (I give myself slack in case any problems with the CC).
Once the bank account is set, really all I do is spend a couple minutes each month logging in and paying ALMOST the entire bill from the saved credit card on my account.
Have done this since Tmobile tightened the screws and I always get the autopay discount despite nearly everything still going on the credit card. I have a feeling Tmobile will try getting even nastier about this loophole in the future, at which time maybe it's time to go prepaid.
Also, pretty sure Chase has some credit cards that offer phone insurance of some kind.
