Saw this offer on multiple chase cards. Language is a little unclear as to whether two payments with the first being small and the second being $50 would qualify or if you need 2x $50 payments, but here it is. I got it 3/6. Word is there might be a VZ version floating around but I have not seen it personally.

Yes. You can pay manually with a card and keep your autopay discount.
Not true at all, I have my auto-pay set to a debit card that has nothing on it and I manually pay with my credit card before my bill is due. I still recieve the autopay discount.
The autopay discount does require bank ACH or debit card payments but you can log in and pay all or a portion of the bill with a credit card before the automatic payment is triggered.

Basically T-Mobile used to provide you with a discount for having a payment method on file. On my account with I think 12 lines it was $5/line but capped at $40 a month. About a year ago they said the autopay discount would no longer apply to credit cards, so most users moved their payment on file from credit card to bank account. But as several users have pointed out, if you keep your bank details on file for autopay but pay off the bill prior to due to date using a credit card you still get the autopay discount (as well as any perks from your credit card provider).
no autopay discount for simple choice in case anyone was wondering

can i pay my parents tmo bill?
I think Yes. As long as that enrolled Chase CC is used to pay a Tmobile bill twice for $50 each time (that is my interpretation of the Tmobile offer), then you fulfill the offer.

I think yes, as long as you fulfill the terms they have outlined. 2x $50 payment (that is my interpretation).

So my question would be: can I make 2 back-to-back $50 to Tmobile with my enrolled Chase card? Like $50, then another $50 right away or maybe the next day (just to space it out a day). Or does it have to be the next month (it doesn't say anything about the spacing of the payments). My phone bill is > $100.

This is exactly what I was thinking... T-Mobile forced everyone to ACH a year or so ago. Can't use credit card and keep plan discounts.

You can!!! Keep the autopay active with your ACH account. You can always pay before the settlement date from any credit card. I do apple card payments which gets you 3% cashback!!

Is there option to pay Tmobile post paid with credit card?
I thought they asked all payment to pay with ACH from Bank.

So I've been doing this the past 3 months to use up the promotional TMobile gift cards I got at sign up. You can make an early partial payment any month while keeping the ACH autopay. So I paid $200 with the GC and then on its normal day the remained of the balance was ACH drafted.

So you should be able to do the same thing with this credit. Possibly make 2x $100 payments in the month with the Chase card. I'll try it if I have the offer

Only issue for me is I have had t-mobile for years and I auto pay, it used to accept my chase preferred credit card, that changed a year ago and they said only a bank account ie. checking or savings. And my credit score is 850 so it is not that.

Didn't T-mobile change their policy so now if you use a credit card, the autopay discount isn't applied? I thought you only get it now with debit cards or direct bank payments.

Yes that it rite
