Saw this offer on multiple chase cards. Language is a little unclear as to whether two payments with the first being small and the second being $50 would qualify or if you need 2x $50 payments, but here it is. I got it 3/6. Word is there might be a VZ version floating around but I have not seen it personally.

Yes. You can pay manually with a card and keep your autopay discount.
Not true at all, I have my auto-pay set to a debit card that has nothing on it and I manually pay with my credit card before my bill is due. I still recieve the autopay discount.
The autopay discount does require bank ACH or debit card payments but you can log in and pay all or a portion of the bill with a credit card before the automatic payment is triggered.

I don't trust TMO to give the reward - sticking with my $20/month bank draw discount

You do you obviously, but these type of offers through credit cards are credits directly issued on to your credit card by the bank, not by the merchant. Just FYI.

In my experience, it takes Chase about 5 days or more to send me a confirmation email when using an offer.
Same. Unlike Amex where I would say 75% of the time, I get an email notification that an offer was used within minutes of charging it, Chase never sends me an email until several days after.

I would like to know this as well. If anyone wants to get back on topic and tried this method. Everyone for the last 10 pages is talking more about ACH payments and their card. Im more interested in how to get the bonus the quickest way
I personally gave the offer to a friend and told him to make 2 distinct $50 payments on his TMO account, back to back, as per my reading of the terms that is the safest and clearest way to meet the requirements, especially since it is not like the extra pre payment would go to waste or anything in the worst case scenario. It is unclear until data points appear as to whether a tiny (i.e.$1) payment then followed by an immediate second payment of the stated $50 requirement would trigger. I certainly can read it that way, but I would believe 50 twice is safer and there is no interpretation of the terms, in my opinion, where 50 x2 would not qualify. For reference, the almost identical Verizon version of this offer CLEARLY states TWO $50+ payments, so one could argue both sides...either they used different language specifically indicating two $50+ payments were NOT required, or they are requiring the same thing but failed to make the language identical (but still murky enough to definitely deny two non-50+ each payments IF they chose to). Just my thoughts of course, so take it for what you will.

I got all 3, but just used the att one as that is what I have. Could I buy prepaid cards from two and Verizon and still get the credits? maybe to use on accessories

I have been paying my monthly bill with credit card since T-Mobile changed the autopay requirements. It is simple. Set up auto pay with your debit card/bank account and then each month, before the autopay is taken out, make a one time payment with your credit card. You still get the autopay discount and also get the benefits of paying with a credit card such as free phone insurance.

I seem to have it on multiple chase cards, but I can't completely tell whether chase attaches the offer to my overall chase account or individual cards? I saw it on 2 different CCs and my chase debit/bank account. Does that mean I get it 3 times, or once?

Add it to each card that has it and use it on each card. Amex will display on multiple cards and remove it once added to one, Chase shows it on each card independently and you can redeem it on each card that has it.

It works, I made 2 $51 payments on Sept 4th three hours apart, charges posted on Sept 5th, and credit is marked as "redeemed" on Sept 7th. No credit yet though

Per card it is. But i am thinking if it works for accessories purchase rather than just bill like last years

I do almost the exact same thing only difference is I pay the entire amount with the credit card exactly 72 hours before the autopay comes out.

I keep a backup debit card from a credit union my emergency stash card that's linked to T-Mobile for the autopay discount. However I pay my entire bill with the credit card and still get the auto pay discount. I do this because my Wells Fargo credit card has cell phone protection, if you pay the bill through them.

I'd rather pay through Wells Fargo and in case something happens I can make a claim with them to replace my phone. I agree with you if they ever cut off this loophole I may be looking for MVNO or cheaper prepaid option, they already raised my plan 2 lines and extra $5 each by going back on there price lot guarantee so being a loyal customer means nothing to them, so I would go where the grass may not be greener but definitely cheaper.
Wow - never knew you could do that. Would be nice then, as like you said then our phones are protected again with our credit card damage insurance. Why set the credit card to be paid 72 hours before autopay though? If you do it earlier does it cause something to go wrong? Thank you!
