You can. You just need to put your ssn and sole proprietorship as the business type and only you as the employee
Something's wrong with this deal description, says $95 annual fee and immediately after, No annual fee.

I think someone got their wires crossed between Ink Preferred and Ink Unlimited. Which one is the increased SUB actually for?
You don't need to. You can own a business with your ssn as sole proprietorship type. There is nothing faking about it. You can intend to start something and start slow after getting the card as well.

I just finished applying, but no approval and they said they need more time to review my application and let me know soon.
That's pretty common these days. Just be patient and wait for their response. With all the data breaches, more and more are going into review.

So you are saying any Chase Ink business card that I got within the past 2 years will not be counted into 5/24 rule?
Your approval of this card wont count toward 5/24. Same for your last approval.

Approved! They sent a message around 5:00am to let me know that I was approved. Five hours later to get the approval when they said they needed more time to review my application.

that's correct. Ink business cards don't even show up on your personal credit report.

Wrong! Last year I applied 2 Chase cards and 1 was this ink card and the other was chase Amazon card and this Ink Business card was in my credit report. I am not BS at all. I did verify my latest credit report that showed this card was in there, not the Amazon chase card. I'm happy that Amazon chase card was not in my credit report, otherwise I got 5 cards within 2 years.

The easiest way to verify your 5/24 is to run your experian credit report and then count up the cards that show up on your report that were opened in the last 24 months. It's free as long as you don't sign up for anyh services.

Correct I did that a couple days ago and also my Capital One CreditWise let me know that too.

Again I did verify that this chase Ink business card was in my credit report that I pulled a couple days ago. This card was approved last year in October and I closed it in July this year.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you opened the card in 10/23, and then closed in 7/24. That's really not advisable to do and can lead to credit card companies closing all your accounts. I checked my household (4 people), and none of their inks show on their credit report as open accounts.

Did you check all three credit reporting companies? Transunion in my experience catches them first

Found this helpful.

I paid a bunch of taxes on my card to clear the minimum spend. There were fees on that but the regular cash back offset half anyway. So ultimately I got like 850 back after fees

I've done exactly this. Every year I have two property tax installments that are just above $6000 each. Even with a 2.25% fee weighed against the value of the SUB it's worth it

You are not alone. The reward points for property tax payment offset some loss on the fee. Overall it is an awesome $900 reward points.

Nowadays I am approved like that. It is ok, just have to go through 2 rounds of spending to meet $6000 within 3 months.

I know but I can't take advantage of 0% Apr for 12 months with $3000 credit 🙄
