I have another version of this which is also 65w pass through (I think it was the 7 in 1). Gets extremely hot and then starts dropping connection to the usb (everything connected to it disconnects from computer). After a few mins it reconnects (I guess once it cools down).
I was outside the return window so could not return.
I ended up not using the power pass through feature - so if that's a requirement for you then don't buy this…
