Xfinity is charging me 115 for less speed in South Fla. I called them and they said they can do no better. Time to leave those creeps.

I was with AT&T for the 1gig plan at $80/month (also took advantage of the $300+ gift card offer) and I was very impressed. Very rarely was there downtime and if so it was never longer than 10 minutes. Was getting 1000+mbps up and down. Spectrum came to my door offering the same speeds at half the cost. Wind up swapping over but of course its cheaper because the upload speeds are never more than 20mbps. Fine for me for only $40 a month. But when I move again, I will be going back to AT&T.

Wish their monthlies would be lower. I want to try them but every one of the 4 other options I have here charges less per month for those speeds. Yes fiber has matching upload speeds but is it really worth bejng more for just that? Currently paying 35/mo tor 600mbps with WoW cable.

I have hbo max included in mine no additional cost.
I talked to AT&T internet today on the phone about something unrelated and they said the Max perk is now only for you're in a grandfathered plan. New plans don't include it

Would love to get fiber in my area… apparently Spectrum has a stronghold and no other player is planning to come here. Oh AT&T still offers 50mbps DSL 😀😀😀

I signed up about 2 weeks ago. The rewards email won't be sent for 6 weeks. No idea about the JBL speaker timing.

I'm currently paying $55/month with paperless billing and discounts at 1gbps.
How you get 1GB that cheap?

I couldn't find a place where I can apply the code. I went all the way to "submit order", no luck.

New code extra100 for $100 instead of back2school for $75

Now I need to call and see if they can change the code for me...

I switched from spectrum in july. Night and day difference with at&t. Very happy. Ended up with $480 including $100 from cash back site and $130 at&t gave me in statement credits.

Best advice I have is monitor the at&t rewards site very closely. Initially they tried to only give me a $50 reward card. So wait 30 days then call and ask for the rest manually. They didn't take the $50 difference back and still processed my $100's. So ended up with $50 more than expected. If you read around online there's tons of complaints about never receiving the gift cards. So just make sure you stay on top of it and call (30 days after service activation).

Spectrum's upload speed is absolute garbage. Considering switching to AT&T fiber again. I don't upload much, but when I do it's maddeningly slow.

Anyone done cable modem vs fiber optic? Which one you like better?

Comcast better than ATT?

Comcast charge me $70 for 1.2gig, 1 yr contract, no TV. I am south of Atlanta.

Att just called me to offer this plan $80 or $65 plan but no mention of gift cards. Will I can get them to do the gc along with it. Or can I directly apply this on sign up?
Also will be checking with Spectrum for their counter offers. If they do offer $40 more than likely I will cave
Just be aware that the company AT&T contracts with for the gift cards is totally shady. I got gift cards that I could not use and apparently someone had already drained them. Evidently I"m not alone by the number of posts I've seen on the Internet. Niether AT&T nor the gift card company was helpful and even after I appealed to the FCC and the "Office of the President" from AT&T reached out they gave up saying they could not figure out how to credit me. LOL when the most senior executive office of a company cannot issue a simple credit not only is your CEO Stankey but so is the entire Office. AT&T sucks. I canceled and went with T-Mobile Home Internet for $20 for life and could not be happier...

oh dang that stinks! Makes sense as HBO was recently sold - I was surprised that I am still able to have it.

That's exactly why I'll be switching back to AT&T here shortly lol. I rarely upload but when i do it's aggravating enough to where i don't mind paying $80 a month
