I bought it at release, it genuinely is pretty bad. The controls and combat are wonky. Everything (voice lines, enemies game play loop) is very repetitive. It was a big disappointment, which sucks as a South Park fan and fan of the other games. I do not recommend.

Switch version is sold out. I would have bought it. But after reading comments and review, I'm thinking maybe it saved me from wasting $10

I've played this. It's...well, at $10, if I knew nothing else about it, it would still be an at-most-average game. It plays like some F2P studio fell backwards into a valuable IP. The controls have that GTA lagginess, which is vexing, since it isn't turn-based; the gameplay is thin and the levels are limited (there's three, if I remember correctly), they really want you to keep grinding an un-fun game loop for unclear benefit "with your friends" on a live service; ah, but the plot, the plot! sucks. There's no story there. There's no development. There's nothing. It's just "go there and punch this thing; throwaway half-jokes; Cartman betrays you."
Don't buy it.

Got it as a stocking stuffer as the boy loves Play Station 5 and South Park. Ahh, to be 15 again. . .

Oof, it kinda hurts how fast this game fell. A game relying on online players so it has a ticking clock doesn't seem to be the best play for South Park. Make another RPG.

Cash grab garbage trying to use a good IP to get sales. Stay far away, if you want good Southpark games play The Stick of Truth or The Fractured But Whole.

It was bad, I bought it on the N64 when it first released. Back then N64 games were minimum $60 at release (90's money!), I doubt I even played through a 1/5th of the game for what is probably $120 considering inflation. Still want to play it today though Wink
