I have this and I like it. I'm not a gym buff but it helps me get in a quick workout in my garage. I think I paid $500 too.

Especially when it is a 2:1 ratio, so is effectively only 80 lbs.

Haven't tried this one but the next model up is great and I've been happy with it. I'd worry how wobbly the arms on this are; unless it's super bulky even some of the lower-end commercial stuff can be less than confidence inspiring.
For the centr 2, does each cable allow for the full 160 lb or a 1:1 weight ratio? Seems like this one does a 2:1 weight ratio where each pulley only allows 80 lbs.

A puller system is the last thing that I need but I'm way past 80 lbs for a single pulley Frown 160 should buy me a few years

Continue to keep your gym membership. Save space at home. Prevent a sore eye. Over time, it becomes impractical.
What are you talking about Bruce almighty!? This will make for an excellent clothes hanger!

The cables fraying or coming off track is probably why this is reduced so much. Would stay away from this

Reviews say the cables are poorly designed and slip off, frequently get damanged etc. Seems cheap but that is probably because it is.

I disagree. Driving to the gym is impractical if you have others your caring for. I love the efficiency of the home gym and not wasting time on a commute

I don't have time to drive to the gym let alone to catch everyone else's covid or whatever else is going around.

Half these people have not even been in a gym. They're here to parrot the same, used, trite, stupid, clothes hanger dad joke. Is so funny.

160lbs just isn't enough for most average lifters. You'll grow out of it extremely fast

library of videos . many courses of exercises. normal price is $30 /month .
IMO . this is a great deal on equipment alone. They would get a very low profit from $400 price. They will aim from user to stay after 1 year or forget to cancel subscription . I think that they try to grow the user bases at all cost.
