I'm talking about the other side of the camera where it's NOT the battery slot. I thought it's where the SD card is inserted and I almost popped it open with brute force. Luckily I went onto Reddit to find out that so many people are also tempted to do the same.
Also, the warning is also from the manual.
I did read a story about someone else who bought an item in-store, saw it for less on Costco.com and then tried to price adjust at the same store with no luck. They took the item to a different local Costco and had no problem price adjusting at that one. But that's a different context and situation than what this is.
