Ok, this one I'm not sure I see the advantage for cordless. If I'm getting out a belt sander, I've got SANDING to do...and the cord really isn't an issue.

Am I wrong on this one? Would love to hear opinions from folks that have this...

if you dont need it then you dont need it. I have one 15a breaker I can use and it goes for dust collection, so I need everything else to be cordless

You could say that about pretty much any power tool and every time I get another one it's ended up being worth it to not have to mess with cords. I do have plenty of batteries though so running out of power isn't a concern.

No, you're not wrong. Most everything you said applies to most cordless tools used inside a workshop or garage with available 120V AC outlets.

Pretty sure I'm not being FUELish on this!

I want this just so I don't have to constantly be throwing the cord out of the way when I'm sanding back and forth on longer stretches. Ran over it more than a couple times….

In fairness, quality cordless tools themselves at least aren't much pricier than the corded versions in many cases. Also DC brushless motors have bridged (or exceeded) any power gap in most tools. If you have the batteries most things cordless make sense now unless you're in a production/high use environment. Personally I've violated the buy once cry once several times buying corded things cheaper only to end up annoyed by the cord and re-buying in cordless.
