Good deal but have to take issue with the $9 original price.

The 5-pack original price is $22.55 which is $4.51 per pack. That should be the benchmark, not the inflated $9 price.

A 34% discount is still good tho.

Bought these last time they were on here, not sure if they are old or something but they taste "off", like bad oil. They apparently don't add any oil so my guess is that these nuts have been sitting around processed for a while? Some reviews mention the same thing.

AMZ has a dynamic pricing algorithm. If sales on an item spike, it will raise the price back to normal. Not always or every item, but I have seen it happen multiple times, enough to convince me it's real.
