Would like to grab one but heard the phone has heating issue through a friend.
Had to delete & reinstall shop sammy to get it to that price .
Was waiting for S24FE but don't think they will be breaking out sub $300 black friday like last year for the s23 fe . Assume $699 discounted to $599 .

It is the "external, NOT internal" screen protector that came pre-applied that loosens over a time. You can replace this or elect to use without the screen protector. I took mine off after about 8months of use as it was bubbling. The screen looked better without the screen protector.
Samsung will replace this screen protector at no charge within the warranty period. To be honest, I am not sure why Samsung applied this screen protector to begin with.
There is a bigger issue with the foldable phones though. the hinge will eventually fail to fold flat, leaving it caved when laid on the table. Until the foldables fix this issue (Samsung, Google, Huawei), I wouldn't recommend buying them.
