Overall, once costco came into my area, I dropped sams plus, not worth it any longer
My girlfriend and I are at about $120 Cashback for the year, and that's with no major purchases and just the two of us. YMMV And, of course, that's only if you don't value the other perks at all. Early shopping is nice if you can make use of it; the free shipping on almost everything was great but they've recently nerfed that.

Local Sam's club have not had replacement cards (both kinds) for over a month now. Customer service don't know when new replacement cards will "arrive" and cannot mail a new card.
Taking a guess: Sam's club wants members to use the app to enter the store.

It's been a while since I checked, but I think Costco had nothing to comparable to Sam's free shipping without additional costs & the same for curbside pickup(Instacart?).
